My first time driving in this much snow today! It may not look like a lot, but from a native Texan this is basically a blizzard*.
*I may be being a bit dramatic. It was over 32 degrees and not snowing while I was actually driving. I was still terrified.
This pretty much makes my day.
Went to Franklin’s BBQ for the first time today. It’s a pretty famous place here in Austin that the line is usually out the door for hours and once they run out of meat is when they close. It used to be a trailer, but now they have an actual small restaurant. I have to say… the line was worth the wait!
Someone printed out a picture of Tom Haverford and put it on our cooler. I added the thought bubble as I thought it was appropriate (thanks Sean for the idea!)
I’ve changed it from heat to a/c at least 5 times in last few days.
I don’t think this guy understands what this sign means. Either that or he’s an asshole.
Our company is having a company wide kickball tournament in a few weeks. Yours truly was asked to be the commissioner for the tournament (SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT!). We’ve been working on designing shirts, trophies, assigning teams, etc. The trophy came in today and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s gaudy to perfection and the inscription reads “Kickball champions of America… and (redacted company name)… and the WORLD!

So we were supposed to fly to Austin from our business trip in Philly. Long story short, they routed us to Houston and are flying us to San antonio. We get in at midnight which means we have to rent a car, drive to Austin, and still go
To work tomorrow. Not thrilled with how Continental/ United handled the whole thing… But all you can do at this point is have a margarita!

A Christmas sweater for Makers Mark! I got it for free for being a part of their ambassadors program (and I don’t drink Makers).
This is going to be a gift for a gift exchange tonight. The limit was $20 and I couldn’t find Makers under $25 so I opted for its lesser known cousin, Rebel Reserve. Non designer whiskey in a designer sweater. Regardless I think the gift is still kick ass!
