Worst traveling luck.
For some reason my flights like to be delayed, rerouted, you name it. I was already hitting 4 airports today by choice (well kinda) with my travel schedule. Due to bad weather in Austin I’m getting to experience the coveted and hard to attain 5-airports-in-one-day status.

Very interesting article about the importance of your 20s. I can definitely relate to the unemployment/ taking longer to find a job out of college part. So thankful I’m not dealing with that anymore!

Crazy busy travel schedule
I know I sound like a broken record on here, but I’ve been traveling a lot lately. It’s been a pretty steady schedule but picked up lately. In 4 consecutive weeks I’ve been to/ going to:
NYC
San Francisco
Las Vegas*
Chicago
Add a few more cities and I’m doing a regular tour de USA.
*This is my only personal trip. I’m going this weekend and so, so, so excited!...

This is a whispery post. I’m speaking at a conference in San Francisco tomorrow morning. I’m really excited but also a little nervous. The topic is how to get better social engagement, but it’s for a nonprofit conference. I have little to no experience with nonprofit. Wish me luck at my first official speaking engagement with my job! :)

SXSW is upon us.

Mystery anniversary trip!
I am very, very excited because in a few minutes I’m leaving for a mystery trip. Sean has been sweet enough to plan a trip for our 3 year anniversary and I have NO idea where we’re going. While that has been difficult for a type A personality control freak like myself, I am also super excited. I’ll keep you posted on where we’re going! :)

3rd grade antics
My 3rd grade teacher is subbing at the elementary school my Mom works at. She told her a story today from when I was her student. Apparently we had a report due on Mysteries of the World. I asked “If we don’t solve the mystery, will I still get a good grade?” You can tell I absolutely was NOT a teacher’s pet. HA!
So I'm going to Kansas City this afternoon....
I found this out yesterday morning. It’s just for the day on Thursday and I’ll be back that evening. Kansas City may be one of my least favorite places… if only I was going… well anywhere else. Should be a good workshop at the very least.
