Gmail hack
So I logged into my email this morning and saw this. I checked it out and it LOOKS like someone in NY has been accessing my email account?? When it says account type, it says unknown. I’m not sure where they would have accessed it from that would appear as unknown. I changed my password immediately, but still feel all weird that someone may have accessed my email. Has this happened to...

The summer of ruins - Teotihuacán
When we were in Mexico City, we figured we had to go see the pyramid ruins at Teotihuacán. It was about an hour outside of Mexico DF so we decided to brave the local bus station. It was ~ $7 round trip, per person to take the bus out there. The bus was a piece of shit, but had minimal stops. Our other option was to hire a driver for around $120 or a 7 hour tour for $100 a person. As you can see...

Roaches at Tacodeli
I get it. I’ve worked in restaurants before. All restaurants have pest problems from time to time. ALL restaurants. If you think otherwise, well, you can stay blissfully ignorant. Anyways even though I know this, you don’t want the idea to be in your face. Like it was for me this morning. At the amazing taco place right by my apartment. The guy that was checking me out actually said...

Re: Fantasy football
Apparently some of the guys now have a side bet going on whether I’ll be in the top or bottom 3 teams. Now I REALLY need to win!

I decided to empty the recycle bin on my work...
I don’t think I’ve ever emptied it since I started 5 months (!!) ago. There were over 20,000 items to delete. It’s been going for 2.5 hours, and there are still 3000 items to delete. It’s making my computer craaaaawl. But the bigger question is, how in the world did I already accumulate 20,000 things in my trash?!

The tale of a Mexico City wedding....
So my friend Jeff got married in Mexico City 2 weekends ago. The bride was from there, so while it wasn’t technically a destination wedding, it kinda was. We got there early and hung out with the groom and friends from college I hadn’t seen in ages. All in all it was a BLAST and I’m a huge advocate of my friends getting married in a destination.  I’d also never been to a...

So I signed up for a Fantasy Football league at...
Mainly because it’s quite the “boys club” here and I wanted to break into that. I’ve only done “pick ‘em” before which until an hour ago is what I thought I’d signed up for. And I got tired of filling those out and I all did was blindly pick between 2 schools. We’re apparently having a live draft, I have to manage a whole football, team, etc....

Mexico City tomorrow!
Today is my Friday! I leave early tomorrow morning to go to Mexico City. It’s my first time to go and I’m pretty excited. I also can’t wait to see my friend Jeff get hitched. And yes I promise to not get shot or kidnapped by drug lords or any other general criminal.

Final stop: Panama City!
For the final leg of the trip, we went to Panama City. It was actually just a stopover so we were there about 24 hours. We took an Eco Jungle Safari tour to the Panama Canal and it’s surrounding areas. We took a boat out on it, saw lot’s of nature and monkeys, and went out to this huge house boat for lunch, lounging, swimming, and canoeing. I opted to canoe which ended up being WAY...

Google +
I’ll be honest, when I first heard of it I was as skeptical as the next person. And why wouldn’t I be? Google hasn’t had the best track record with social media efforts (I’m looking at you Google Buzz). With that said, I gave it a try (hey I’m in the SM space!). And I have to say… I love it. I love how clean the interface is. It’s not cluttered and pretty...

dailybaxter replied to your link: Biggest baby born in Texas? My mom has logged her guess into our pending baby pool as me having a 27 inch baby. I think she’s lost her damn mind. Oh no!!! That is ridiculous. Tell her to take that back right now!

Excuse me Netflix?
Did anyone hear about how Netflix will raise your monthly cost by about 50% if you want to keep unlimited streaming AND get DVDs? That’s bullshit. We love Netflix because they are no hassle and allowed this amazing perk of free streaming of anything they have available on instant. Now I have to pay for streaming and DVDs? What more am I getting for this cost? I hope you’re planning on...

Machu Picchu trip!
It’s time for the next phase of the trip - Machu Picchu! Here are some pics from the lines of Nasca if you missed them. Machu Picchu was just awesome. It was so cool just to be there. Getting there is actually really difficult (even in our modern times). You have to first get to Cusco which is the biggest city outside of Machu Picchu. The city is about 10,500 ft altitude so I was having...

Leo went to daycare for the first time today.
Let me tell you, I felt like I was trying to get him into private school. It took a month before they had availability, I had to fill out 3 pages of his likes, dislikes, etc. They also have to evaluate him today. So in theory he may not get asked back to the daycare. But I’m not worried about that (Because he’s so cute and sweet! Damnit please ask him back!).  Anyways when I dropped...

Peru vacation pics - Round 1
So I have quite a few pictures I wanted to share of my trip with my Tumblr friends. Instead of bombarding you all at once, I’ve decided to do 3 separate posts of trip pics as to not overwhelm ya’ll. We’ll start with phase one today which is Nasca, Peru! We got to go up in a plane and see the Lines of Nasca. I have literally been wanting to do this since I was in 3rd grade and did...

No fireworks tomorrow :(
If you’re from Texas I imagine you’re in the same predicament. Which is so sad to me! Stupid drought and burn ban. This might be the only time in my life I’ve been in the states for the 4th and won’t see any fireworks. So what am I going to do you ask? Grill out, lay by the pool, and drink sangria like any good American would.
