So I have a favorite pizza place in Dallas. They have the BEST pizza ever. It’s called white pizza and it’s delicious. I’m a little crazy about it. When I’m Dallas for the weekend I’ve been known to get one to go on Sunday when I leave so I can have leftovers over the next week. I miss it so much being in Austin.

I just applied to be part of the Austin Off Leash...
And I’m pretty excited. It’s a volunteer position, 12-15 hours a month. I’m most worried I won’t have that kind of time (if it is actually that much). I’m excited about the chance to help with dog stuff in Austin. I’m most excited that I’ll be in a committee in the Austin Parks and Recreation department. I took my computer in because I was having some mouse issues. Turns out the trackpad was bad. The computer is just 6 months old so that sucks. Also, they were quoting the fix 3-5 days (and it’s more work computer) so that also sucks. I don’t have another so I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I dropped it off Friday afternoon in hopes the weekend would be enough time to fix it....

Errr something like that. Because of my recent trips and the fact that I’ve been seeing my parents a lot recently, they offered to keep Leo while I’ve been out. It has been 3 weeks. This was obviously the best things for him, since he loves being at their house, playing with their animals, and not being in a kennel. This was terrible for me because I had to go 3 weeks without seeing...
Overheard on the bus to my car from the airport:
18ish yro kid: So why don’t I feel jet lag yet?
Mom: It doesn’t kick in until tomorrow.
Dad: No, you won’t get jetlag we didn’t have a time change.
Mom: Yes we will, we were an hour off.
Dad: You don’t get jet lag from that.
I was going to make fun of the kid for being too old and thinking he should know better. Then I listened to the rest of the family...
What do you do when you and your co-worker get to...
Have an airport pub crawl of course! We made it to 4 different places, which was awesome. What wasn’t awesome was missing the Southwest boarding so I was one of the last ones on and had to sit in the back of the plane, in a row with lots of kids around me. I think at the end of the day I still won.
