Awww Katie you’re too sweet! She too is one of my Tumblr to IRL favorites. We have a lot of common interests (puppies, drinking, kickball to name a few) and always do have great conversation. As for the dogs… I haven’t given up hope on our dream. Daisy is just the strong dominating type that needs to wear down her men until they’re submissive (keep trying Daisy!). Or, we just force them to hang out until they like each other damnit!!! But yeah Katie’s great and so is Tumblr! If you haven’t gone to a meetup in your town yet, I’d highly recommend it! katie-mac: I love this girl. I’ve met a lot of people through tumblr, but she’s got to be one of my faves. We met up last night for drinks and dinner, and to let our puppies hang, and I just always have a great time talking to her. I really wanted our puppies to hit it off (because how cute would that be), but unfortch Daisy feels this need to be all up in Leo’s shit every time she sees him, which he obviously isn’t really into. One of the things we talked about it how some people don’t get the “meeting someone (as friends) on a social networking site,” but how normal it actually can be. I really am thankful that I joined tumblr, because it’s opened me up to a whole bunch of Austinites (and everywhereelseites) that I never would have met otherwise! Also - how sweet is Jen…she came to dinner with a bottle of wine and a leash for me. I had let her borrow a leash once when we were out because Leo chewed through his, so she got me a new one. The wine was for a glass she accidentally broke at my house during a wild night of kickball team karaoke. I break wine glasses (really, anything glass) like it’s going out of style, and had already broken 2 of that set, so I told her not to worry about it…and she still got me a bottle of wine as an “I’m sorry” gift! Such a sweet friend!
