So I’m in College Station for my little sister’s ring dunk (I know fellow Longhorns, it’s killing me too). So what is the ring ceremony/ dunk you ask? It’s when the Aggies receive their senior ring but it’s a HUGE deal to them. Like almost as big as graduation (a bit ridiculous?). The families all come out too… Oh the Aggies and their traditions. Anyways, after the ceremony you are supposed to drop your new and very expensive ring in a pitcher full of beer. You proceed to chug the pitcher as fast as possible (throwing up? No problem, toss your cookies and come back and finish that pitcher!). My sister is opting for a mug with a weak lemonade and vodka concoction but honestly I don’t blame her. As you can probably tell I’m not super sad that I wasn’t able to be a part of such a tradition. (Hook ‘em!) But congrats Kris!!!!
