My blog is dead.

Ok it’s not ACTUALLY dead. Although it looks and feels dead, I’m not ready for it to be gone just yet. I’ve been especially busy lately. I was in one of those “something’s gotta give” situations and unfortunately, it’s been my blog. I miss writing and sharing. I miss Tumblr and the community. I’m hoping things will slow down enough early next year I can really participate again. In the meantime, I’ll continue to post sparingly in the meantime.

And a quick update on why things have been so hectic:

  • I’ve been working 2 jobs at my company the last few months. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but both jobs are ramping up my work so my workload has been increasing. I’m thankful for the opportunity to move into a marketing position (that I’ve been wanting to do for a while) but the working 2 jobs has taken it’s toll on me.
  • I’ve been traveling a lot. Or at least a lot more than I ever thought I would be. When you are traveling during the week, you lose time for things like laundry, grocery shopping, drinks with friends, etc. This ends up backing up my weekends as well. I also went to San Fran with a friend recently. It was great and I still want to post about it!
  • I got a kitten!! I think I’ve lost my mind. I’m not really a cat person, but my friend’s cat had kittens and I took one from her. The kitten’s name is Maggie and she’s quite a handful but also really fun and adorable. Kitten spam to come!!
