Words of wisdom from our guest blogger: Erika Cespedes!

we all bounce around through life believing we will somehow find inspiration and inertia to execute a professional dream…but theres a time when you shrivel up, you become older and you lose your momentum… do you keep going or do you rationalize and settle for something a little less than the rigid standards you had growing up.
Luckily, we aren’t there yet. If and when we do, we must chug along (liqour wise and metaphorically) and keep going. We’re all granted a limited stay here on earth, so while we are still cute and bubbly why not kill it in the workforce, own your profession, network like you’ve had 64 shots of vodka in your blood and SHUT THE SHIT DOWN.
It’s easy to get discouraged, it’s easy to lose momentum so fast that your dream slowly becomes a dark, narrow tunnel that you feel you will never get through to achieve it.
Below is a passage sent by a little RocknRoll God-in-the-making, bestowed upon you not to inspire or change your life forever, but to allow you to second guess your criticism and perhaps reassure you that when you fall a little below your dream you can always keep going. I mean after all, its only one little scrape in your Seven For All Mankind jeans right?
Me (erika): yeah so after not doing well in music in the US he wants to move to GERMANY! he said america sucks for music right now, but I guess in germany all the bands are on and poppin by the Berlin wall.
Jen: I didnt know the german music scene was so hip
Me (erika):but u know what though, althought he moved around everywhere and does this crazy shit, i honestly think its so admirable, like i wish i could just fucking go and move to new york for 3 years then miami for another 3 years then move back to LA for 5 years.just to do it. just to see..

Love,
