Sugar cookie cut out recipe
A few of you have asked for it. Also, Star Wars cookie cutters are from Williams-Sonoma and apparently they have quite a collection of Star Wars and kitchen stuff. Good Christmas ideas! And btw the recipe is super simple and the cookies are delicious!
2.5 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
1.5 sticks of butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Whisk flour and salt together in a small bowl
Beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy, about 3 mins.
Beat in egg and vanilla
Reduce to low speed and add flour, mix until combined
Form disks, wrap in plastic, and chill (about an hour)
Roll out dough, cut out cookies and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350
