Post
My last post sparked a debate at breakfast.
In other states, do you have your state shaped waffles at hotel breakfast? It seems like a lot of the states shapes would be awkward as a waffle. So what say you non-Texas Tumblrs?

while I’ve seen a CA shaped waffle, I’m yet to see CA shaped totilla chips. and let’s face it, you haven’t had salsa until you’ve had it with a TX shaped chip

Nope. Texas is the only place that shows off pride by replicating it’s shape. I love it! Illinois cookies would look awkward.

I can speak for VA, MD and DC, no such thing here. Plain round waffles

as a PA native, i can tell you that i love la quinta waffles but PA for sure does not care about the state shape as much as TX. or at all. & from any road trip gift store stops, i’m pretty sure no other states care, either

When we went to Colorado in September, all of the waffles were shaped like the state.

I’ve never seen state shaped waffles! NJ, GA, and AZ just don’t look that cool!

Texas is pretty unique in it’s myopia. Most states don’t have their own special editions of trucks and beer either.

I’ve seen lost of random things shaped like my homestate (Iowa), however I do think that Texas takes the prize for state-pride-shaped anything. For the record, I love that!
